injure 指的是受傷的官方說法，大都是由第三人陳述出來。
如：According the accident, the woman got injured by the truck.
The lastest report said that no one was injured in the accident.

hurt 大都是指傷者或給傷者的口語說法。
如：A: I didn't mean to hurt you. I'm sorry.
B: Uh~ My foot hurt.

wound-----受傷 ( 是指有傷口的受傷 )

例如：He had a bullet wound in his chest.

他胸部有槍傷。

injury----- 損傷 ( 是無明顯傷口的 )

例如：

1.He escaped from the train wreck without injury.
他在這次火車事故中沒有受傷。

2.Most people protect themselves from injury to their self-esteem.

大多數人保護自己使自尊心不受傷害。

hurt ------ 使受傷 ( 特別是有痛楚的受傷 )

例如：
1.No one was seriously hurt in the traffic accident.
在這次交通事故中沒有人受重傷。

Q:
I ain't afraid a no ghost
請問這句話是什麼意思？

A:
ain't 其實真實是代表am not
像是I ain't tall. ( I am not tall)
可是後來很多黑人或是一些比較低階層級的人士拿來使用
就變成一種俚語(slang)了
所以現在在講話用ain't可以代表is not, are not,am not, does not, do not
She ain't going to the party tonight (真正為she is not going to the party tonight)
因為一些黑人教育程度比較低的關係 所以常常喜歡aint來aint去的
這其實在文法都是錯誤的 因為double negative的關係
I ain't afraid of no ghost (已經有ain't 在有no就是錯的)
I ain't afraid of ghost才是正確的
不過ain't的用法在文學中幾乎都是拿來代表裡頭的角色並沒有受過教育才會使用 所以在書中可以看到這些用法 並不代表是正確的
很多dobule negative例子像是
I ain't going to that place no more
I ain't never gonna do it again
I ain't doing nothing wrong

I ain't afriad of no ghost
就是我才不怕鬼
只要把double negative拿掉
改成I ain't afraid of ghost就是正確的意思
I ain't coming to your house no more
跟I ain't coming to your house 一樣的意思
算是黑人特殊的講話方法
如果有人要模仿黑人或是gangster(混混),(不代表黑人都是gangster)
不過大部分gangster講話跟黑人是一個樣子 也是有受高等教育的黑人不會這樣講 這裡是指較貧窮的黑人社區 其實這種講話大家都會的,不過一般人是特意去模仿的 不過大部分黑人是自然就會講

數量表示方式

a是泛指，one是特指
不定式冠詞a與one的用法
作「一（個）」講，不定冠詞a所表達的「數量」這一概念，遠不如one這個數詞來得明確和恰當（註： 這樣使用，a或an就是one的弱勢形式 。參見詞目1、3和4）。

例如：I want to live a hundred years．-M．Swan．我想要活100歲。（是一種「姑妄言之」的說法，所以要用a，不用one）

The journey took exactly one hundred days．-M．Swan．這次旅行整整歷時100天。（這裡說的是一個事實，所以要用one，不用a，並可加飾exactly這樣一個副詞）

比較：
Give me an apple，will you？給我一隻蘋果，好嗎？（是與some或any相對而言）
