吃太多,a lot, too much

a lot of的意思是很多
too much的意思則是太多
My father didn't want me to eat a lot of food.這個是:我爸爸叫我不要吃很多的食物
(文意念起來就怪怪的了!!)
My father didn't want me to eat too much food.我爸爸叫我不要吃太多食物
a lot of比較適合用在肯定的句子裡吧!
像:I ate a lot of food today，but my father didn"t want me to eat too much food！
像這樣比較通順！
其實是因為像是 a lot 後方可加可數名詞及不可數名詞
而 too much 則是用在不可數名
對了位置擺放也不同喔
此外比較常用在肯定句當然你這樣寫也許別人無法說你錯但是會告訴你很少人這樣用記住英文並非我們的母語所以我們要多模仿
